Casey Montgomery was known around the nation as an avid outdoorsman and friend. If you sat on the banks of one of our nation's grand rivers, you may have been fortunate enough to inhale the scents of his grill as the smoke wafted through the air. Crew of the river towboats were always excited to see he was the chief engineer on their next trip. It was a guarantee you’d have a good meal. 

Being the son of Big D’  you learn a few things at an early age - how to fix a tractor, how to hunt to feed your family, and how to ensure everyone’s mouth is watering even before the food hits the table. 

We still hear stories of people Casey met and meals he cooked.  His children are carrying on his legacy learning the tricks of the pit.
