Smoked Candied Pecans

Story
We like to eat. You like to eat. We like things that are quick and tasty! How about you? Try these candied pecans on the smoker (or offset grill) or in the oven. Delicious either way and will impress your guests!
Ingredients
Half-pound of pecans (this recipe doubles easily. If you are feeding a crowd, double all ingredients)
Two (2) Tablespoons Hurricane Rib Rub
1/2 teaspoon STEAK OUT (coming early January 2021!)
1/3 cup melted butter
1/3 cup maple syrup
Equipment Needed
Use a smoker or offset grill. (Or, use an oven!)
Charcoal
Medium-size mixing bowl
Baking sheet
Aluminum Foil
Pecan or Cherry wood (optional)
Instructions
In a medium-size mixing bowl, add pecans, melted butter, maple syrup, Hurricane Rib Rub, and STEAK OUT
Mix with spoon
Cover baking sheet with aluminum foil
Spoon mixture on foil-covered baking sheet
Put on the smoker (or oven) at 275 degrees.
Cook 20-25 minutes
Let cool at least 1 hour before eating to let the candied mixture harden on pecans.
Tips and Tricks
If you are in a hurry, stick it in the fridge for quicker cooling.
